Every successful accounting practice has a story, and mine began with a simple ambition—to help people understand their finances and provide honest, professional advice they could trust.
My journey into the accounting profession started at the age of eighteen when I joined the Accounting Department of Coles Australia. It was there that I developed a solid understanding of financial systems, business procedures and corporate accounting. My dedication and attention to detail soon led to a promotion into Product Costing Analysis, where I gained valuable experience in financial reporting, cost management and commercial decision-making.
With a clear vision of one day operating my own accounting practice, I continued to broaden my experience by joining an Aircraft Engineering company, working within its accounting department. Although that chapter came to an end following the company's acquisition by Boeing, it provided further insight into the financial management of specialised industries and large organisations.
My next professional step was with the respected Sydney accounting firm A.J. Stojanovic, where I continued to expand my knowledge across taxation, business accounting and client advisory services. By the age of twenty-four, I had developed the confidence, practical experience and professional foundation to pursue the goal I had held from the very beginning—establishing my own accounting practice.
During my pregnancy with my daughter, I made the life-changing decision to become self-employed. It was a decision driven by determination, independence and a genuine passion for helping individuals and businesses navigate Australia's taxation system with confidence.
That commitment has never changed.
Over the years I have continued to build my practice, providing personalised taxation, accounting and advisory services to clients from many different industries and backgrounds. In 2017, I established NetTax Pty Ltd Accounting in Queensland, creating a modern accounting practice focused on professional service, practical advice and long-term client relationships.
Today I assist individuals, families, small businesses and Australian expatriates with a wide range of taxation and accounting matters. My approach has always been straightforward: provide clear advice, maintain the highest professional standards and ensure every client receives personal attention.
I am proud to hold a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) qualification and became a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) in 2017. I am also an Accredited Taxation Institute (ATI) member and a Qualified Justice of the Peace (JP Qual). These professional qualifications reflect my ongoing commitment to education, ethical practice and delivering the highest standard of professional service to every client.
After decades in the profession, I remain just as passionate about accounting as when I first entered the industry. Every client is different, every situation is unique, and I continue to enjoy helping people achieve better financial outcomes through practical advice, experience and genuine personal care.
